About this experience
At the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia, Sentosa's coastline turns into an illuminated trail once the sun goes down. The Magical Island Adventure Pass gives you entry to the Isle of Adventure night experience, where storytelling installations inspired by Disney and Pixar films line the shore. You'll pass through Disney Discovery Reef, where coral formations glow with biolumniscent-style lighting and reference Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid, and Lilo & Stitch, before crossing into Wayfinder Bay for a moodier, mist-filled stretch built around the Heart of Te Fiti installation.
What sets this experience apart is the shift from day to night. The same paths that are free to walk during daylight hours take on a different atmosphere after 7pm, with glowing manta ray installations shimmering beneath the water and moonlit paths threading through rolling mist. There's also an interactive element at Sentosa Rock, where you can project your own light designs onto the rock face through a web-based tool.
Each pass includes entry to the night experience, a Sentosa and Disney Cruise Line themed postcard, and an Adventure Stamp Card, both redeemable at select Sentosa Guest Services locations. It's a self-paced walk rather than a guided tour, so you can linger at each installation for as long as you like within the operating window.
What to expect
Your visit begins at the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia, reached via the Sentosa Express to Beach Station, the Beach Shuttle, or on foot along the beach. Once inside, you'll move through Disney Discovery Reef first, where coral reef-style installations and biolumniscent lighting bring underwater scenes from Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid, and Lilo & Stitch to life. A short stop at Sentosa Rock lets you try the interactive light projection feature before continuing on.
From there, a bridge crossing leads into Wayfinder Bay, where glowing manta ray installations shimmer beneath the water and a moonlit, mist-covered path opens onto the Heart of Te Fiti installation. There's no fixed route timing, so you can move through at your own pace, stopping for photos along the way. The night experience runs from 7pm to 10pm with last entry at 9.30pm, giving you a couple of hours to take in the full stretch of installations before the coastline closes for the night.
Things to note
- Wear comfortable walking shoes, as the route covers open coastal paths and a bridge crossing
- Bring a light layer for the evening, as sea breezes can make the coastline cooler after dark
- Redeem your postcard and stamp card at a Sentosa Guest Services location rather than at the entrance itself
- Allow extra travel time if arriving by Sentosa Express or public bus, since you'll need to transfer to the Beach Shuttle
- Charge your phone in advance if you plan to use the interactive light projection feature at Sentosa Rock
- Last entry is at 9.30pm, so arrive with enough time to see the installations before the window closes
