Alpaca World Admission Ticket

Set in the forested hills of Hongcheon, Gangwon Province, Alpaca World is a nature-based animal park roughly two hours from Seoul, spread across some 360,000 square metres of woodland. It's built around close encounters with alpacas, from hand-feeding them on a forest walk to watching dozens of them gather each morning in a crowd-pleasing parade. Beyond the alpacas, the park is home to coatis, eagles, parrots, and other animals featured in short interactive performances throughout the grounds.

The signature moment is the "Come Here, Alpacas!" event, which takes place daily at 10:10 AM, when a large group of alpacas runs across the field toward visitors. Arriving before 10:00 AM secures a spot for this. Elsewhere in the park, a Healing Walk lets you stroll quietly through the trees with the animals, and a 10-stop stamp tour turns exploring the grounds into a small scavenger hunt, with a souvenir for anyone who completes it.

Food courts and a forest cafe cover meals and drinks on site, including alpaca-themed snacks and bread. This ticket covers general admission to the park; feeding experiences and some animal encounters are paid for separately on site using Paca Coins, purchased at the ticket office or from coin machines around the grounds.

After entering, you'll print your ticket at a self-service machine using your phone number, then make your way into the park grounds. The morning centres on the "Come Here, Alpacas!" event at 10:10 AM, when a large group of alpacas runs toward the crowd in one of the park's most photographed moments. From there, you can join the Healing Walk, a quieter stretch through the forest where alpacas approach for hand-feeding, or wander over to see the coatis, eagles, and parrots featured in scheduled performances around the site.

The rest of the visit is self-paced. Many people work through the 10-stop stamp tour, picking up a stamp sheet at the ticket booth and hunting down each station across the grounds before claiming a souvenir at the Art Shop. Food courts, a picnic restaurant open on weekends and holidays, and a forest-view cafe give you places to rest and eat between activities. A full visit, covering the parade, a walk, and a few animal encounters, comfortably fills a half day.
