About this ticket

Practical info
This pass is valid for 7 consecutive days from activation. Your Exchange Order must be swapped for the physical pass in Japan within 90 days of issue; you then have 30 days to activate the pass. The date you select at booking is your intended travel date to Japan, not the activation date. Age bands: Adult (13-99), Child (4-12). Up to two children (1-5) travel free per adult pass holder if they do not occupy a seat.
How to redeem
You will receive a physical Exchange Order by courier to your address. This is not the pass itself. In Japan, you must present this Exchange Order along with your passport at a designated JR Exchange Office to receive your actual rail pass.
Important notes
- This pass is non-refundable once booked.
- Eligibility is restricted to non-Japanese passport holders with a 'Temporary Visitor' visa status. Do not use automated immigration gates upon arrival to ensure you receive the required stamp.
- The name and country of residence on your booking must exactly match your passport.
- Booking is recommended at least two weeks before your trip. Bookings made more than 90 days in advance will be confirmed closer to your travel date.
