This full-day tour takes you from Naples along the Amalfi Coast, stopping in three of the region's best-known towns: Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi. Traveling by minivan in a small group, you'll trace the Amalfi Drive as it hugs the cliffside above the Tyrrhenian Sea, with stops along the way to take in the views over the water.
In Sorrento, you'll walk through gardens known for their lemon trees and explore the historic center's narrow streets, lined with shops selling local crafts and limoncello made in the area. From there, the road continues to Positano and Amalfi, where you'll have free time to wander the seafront, browse the cafes or head down to the beach.
You can choose the format that suits your trip: a version with a pre-arranged Mediterranean lunch at a local restaurant, or one without lunch that leaves more time to explore Positano and Amalfi at your own pace. Semi-private and small-group van options are available, including versions with French-speaking guides.
What to expect
The day begins in Sorrento, where you'll walk through gardens filled with lemon trees before exploring the historic center's alleys, shops and limoncello tastings. From there, the minivan sets off along the Amalfi Drive, with stops for photos as the road winds along the cliffs above the coastline.
In Positano and Amalfi, you're free to explore the seafront on your own, whether that means a swim, a gelato or a browse through the shops.
