About this experience

This afternoon-to-night island-hopping tour takes you to seven islands off Krabi's coast, combining snorkeling, sandbar walks and a sunset dinner on the beach. You'll be picked up from your hotel and taken to Nopparat Thara Pier, with an extra stop at Railay Beach to collect other travelers, before boarding a traditional longtail boat or speedboat depending on the ticket type you choose.

The route covers a mix of snorkeling spots and photo stops. At Koh Yawasam and Koh Tan Ming, you'll snorkel in open water known for clear visibility and colorful marine life, before continuing to Chicken Island for a look at its rock formation shaped like a chicken. A highlight of the day is the sandbar at Koh Tup and Koh Mor, a narrow strip of sand connecting the two islands that only appears at certain tides. From there, the boat heads to Poda Island as the light starts to fade.

As the sun sets, you'll sit down to a buffet dinner on the beach at Poda Island, then head out for a night snorkel at Koh Raeng, where bioluminescent plankton sometimes lights up the water after dark. This Krabi sunset tour wraps up with a boat ride back to the pier and a transfer to your hotel.

What to expect

Your day starts with hotel pick-up in the Aonang zone, followed by a transfer to Nopparat Thara Pier and a short stop at Railay Beach to pick up other travelers. From there, you'll board either a longtail boat or speedboat and head out to the first snorkeling stops at Koh Yawasam and Koh Tan Ming, where clear open water makes for good visibility. The boat then moves on to Chicken Island for photos of its distinctive rock formation, before reaching Koh Tup and Koh Mor, where a natural sandbar connects the two islands at low tide.
